What am I doing?
I'm raising funds for the Breast Cancer Research Centre-WA (BCRC-WA)because they do NOT receive government funds. I am supporting Prof Arlene Chan's vision.
“Every patient has different needs and BCRC-WA wants to provide a world-class one-stop shop. This will include both medical treatment and ongoing support services required e.g. physiotherapists, psychologists, dieticians, and social workers. The center is going to be a place of education for doctors in training, families, and cancer patients".
No place in Perth allows cancer patients access to everything they need in one spot. We want to change this and make it easier for patients to cope with their breast cancer diagnosis.
Why?
I am losing too many friends and family to Breast Cancer.
BCRC-WA makes a difference. Their Clinical Trials improve survival rates not only in Perth and Western Australia but around the world.
Please watch this video from BCRC-WA:
Improving Survival Rates of Breast Cancer Patients
What am I doing about it?
I am losing my beloved braids on Valentine's Day and the funds we raise are going to build on Prof Arlene Chan's vision.
I am taking a stand against breast cancer. Will you stand with me?
Please stand with me
Our target is $5k BUT the big dream is in this article.

UPDATE ***
Thank you for all your support so far. You are all wonderful. As the campaign comes to a close, please ask your friends to help us near the finish line to reach our target. My haircut was done yesterday the 14 February and I love that all this money will go to BCRC-WA.
