Tis the season of giving for a good cause! We would like to invite you to share that bountiful blessing with others.
On behalf of the alumni of the Adventist University of the Philippines Northern California, we would like to thank you for keeping this fundraising in your thoughts and prayers.
This coming December 8-16, 2023, the Philippine Meistersingers are bringing their repertoire of Holiday Season, Classical, and Sacred music to the Sacramento area. We believe that the music they will bring will provide encouragement and strength in your faith in God and give you hope.
The Philippine Meistersingers is composed of 26 members. The funds raised will go to the chorale’s current tour expenses and operational costs in the Philippines promoting Adventist education, music ministry to various churches, and evangelistic meetings.
These members are blessed with beautiful voices. They are also students and alumni of the Adventist University of the Philippines.
With your donation to the Philippine Meistersingers, we know you will be blessed by a thousandfold of your kindness this Holiday Season and all year round. Your donation will be much appreciated. Thank you very much, and we appreciate your generosity.
We will update this fundraising with photos and videos of their concert tour because you have been a part of their success.
It is our prayer that our Heavenly Father bless you abundantly in all things at all times just as these Bible promises have been given to us in Psalms 31:19 (NIV): “How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.” and, 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV) “And God can bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
Thank God for your generosity,
Northern California AUP Alumni
- THE PHILIPPINE MEISTERSINGERS-
The Philippine Meistersingers formerly called the Adventist University of the Philippines Ambassadors, is a world-class chorale that sings for God’s glory, proclaims the gospel through music; received world acclaim by winning gold medals and the championship for the Gospels and Spirituals category at the 4th World Choir Games in 2006. They were also declared the Choir of the World at the 2011 Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod. In 2019, the group’s choral conductor, Ramon Lijauco Jr., was awarded the Jane Davies Prize for Most Outstanding Conductor during the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod Festival’s Choir of the World held in Wales, United Kingdom.
The group’s history started in 1957 and was founded by an American missionary, Elder Elton Wallace, as an all-male chorus group. In 1971, under the leadership of Mrs. Minerva Arit-Penaranda, accepted female members and became a mixed choir. They have been actively involved in promoting Adventist education by visiting churches all over the Philippines, and other countries in Asia and in the United States.
