YOU CAN HELP TURN WASTE INTO WONDER!
We create jobs and reduce landfill by creatively re-using old corporate uniforms

LOOP Upcycling was created for one clear purpose – to give back. How do we do that?
Through creative re-use (or upcycling) of unwanted products, we remove a major environmental challenge for big business. And at the same time, we create life-changing jobs for some of the most disadvantaged people in the community.

The opportunity to create this unique business started with Virgin Australia. They wanted to discard their old corporate uniforms in a safe, secure, ethical and environmentally-friendly way.

So together we developed The ‘Branson Bear’. Made from upcycled flight crew uniforms, the Branson Bear is a classic example of ‘upcycling’ or ‘creative re-use’, instead of sending waste to landfill, we created something unique and wonderful!

So clearly, Branson Bear is much more than a cute, cuddly bear – he’s a powerful symbol of innovation and hope. It’s an innovative example of Virgin Australia’s commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and that’s why he’s supported by the amazing Sir Richard Branson himself.
Each bear is made from upcycled uniforms and will be available in a wide range of colours. Remember, as part of the hand-crafted creative re-use process, each Bear is totally unique. What’s more, they’re made with love right here in Australia.

Now there’s an excellent idea! With millions of tonnes of uniforms ending up in landfill as part of scheduled replacement protocol. No smiles gained.
Turning old uniforms into cuddly bears, creating jobs, helping the environment and positive community outcomes. Now that’s something to smile about!
