Amanda & Brazil made a big impact at the recent World Cup
Brazil gave the sport of Rugby League a fairytale story when the South American nation brought a team of unknowns to compete at the recent Rugby League World Cup. You might remember second-row center Amanda Welter, a towering force from the rural interior of Brazil who cried freely as the national anthem was played to open the Cup, then played her heart out in each contest.
We're trying to help her realize a dream
If you're trying to make a mark in the world of Rugby League, Australia is the place to be. Amanda would love to come to Australia for at least one season and show what Brazilians can do while transferring her learnings to the national team at the same time. She is also eager to study and improve her career prospects for the future.

It's not easy to come from Brazil to Australia
As well as sky-high flight costs, to come to Australia, Amanda will have to consider visa and living costs, while also finding accommodation and money for living expenses. We've got people willing to help with some things, but to get her to Australia and take the stress away, it will take some fundraising.
We're on a tight timeline
With many teams already back training in Australia, the latest we could try and get this international ambassador on a flight would be around mid-to-late February. Therefore time is of the essence.
Thanks to all who can assist
Your donation will not only help Amanda become a Brazilian pioneer, but it will also help establish a pathway and transform the face of the International Rugby League by creating a pathway for talent from developing nations. Whatever you can afford to give, we're greatly appreciative.
