Your donation will help the Way Home Foundation equip a Shop on Wheels in a minibus to strengthen the social farm enterprise Liebenthal in the Odesa region, Ukraine. The mobile shop will sell farm products in the city: greenery, vegs, honey, and flowers, which are raised by disadvantaged young people from the Liebenthal agricultural community. They have received training in the skills of agricultural business and they want to earn their living and start their own business.

Due to the long war, COVID-19 pandemic, and economic crisis in Ukraine, more than 19 million people live below the poverty line. And twice as many people are living in poverty in villages than in big cities. Young people from Ukrainian villages are often unable to escape from the circle of disadvantage, social exclusion, domestic violence, and substance use. They cannot get a good education, find a decent job to support themselves and their families or improve the well-being of their community.

Way Home Foundation has implemented a training and mentoring program in modern agricultural technologies and entrepreneurship on a farm in Liebenthal village since 2020. 60 disadvantaged young people have already passed it. We`ve launched a social agricultural enterprise where the graduates of the program will live, work, and implement their business ideas under the mentors' supervision. We need to equip a mobile shop in our minibus to sell the products of enterprise (greenery, vegs, honey, flowers).

We empower disadvantaged rural youth to jump-start for their better future. Firstly, program graduates will be able to pilot their business projects in the agro sector here, gain practical skills, and resources, and find investments for business development and success, which will be a good example to others. Secondly, the income from the sale of goods will be spent on ensuring the work of the farm and developing the business, living, and salaries of young people, which will give the project sustainability
