Hello friends!
My name is Maggie, and I'm reaching out from Kansas with an exciting and heartfelt dream. Ever since I studied Spanish in college, I’ve been captivated by Spain’s rich culture, stunning architecture, and vibrant art scene. I’ve dreamt of living and working in Spain for years, and I’ve just landed an opportunity to make this dream come true!
I've been accepted into a program called NALCAP, which offers North Americans the chance to teach English in Spanish schools. I’ve been placed in Córdoba, a beautiful city in southern Spain, and I couldn't be more excited!
This opportunity is a dream come true, but it comes with some initial costs that I need help covering. These include visa fees, travel expenses, and the first week of accommodation before I move into my apartment.
Here’s a quick breakdown:
Visa Application: $160
Travel to Chicago for Visa: $250
Background Check & Apostille: $150
Plane Ticket to Spain: $800
First Week’s Hotel/Hostel: $200
Deposit + First Month’s Rent: $600
I’ll receive a monthly stipend once I start, but it won’t cover these upfront costs. That’s where your support would help.
If you can contribute, even $1 or $5, it would be incredibly appreciated and would help ease the financial stress as I embark on this amazing journey. Every little bit helps bring me one step closer to living my dream and making a positive impact in Spain!
Thank you so much for considering a donation. Your support will not only help cover these expenses but also make this adventure possible. I’m excited to share this journey with you and will keep you updated on my progress.
Thank you for your kindness and support!
With gratitude and excitement,
Maggie ✈️
