Help Reyanci Rebuild Life and Secure Future Medical Care

My name is Reyanci Vivek, a 29-year-old living with two rare and challenging conditions: Emery-Dreifuss Muscular Dystrophy (EDMD) and Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM).

Emery-Dreifuss Muscular Dystrophy (EDMD) is a genetic disorder causing progressive muscle weakness, joint stiffness, and cardiac complications. Over time, it has severely affected my mobility, making daily life increasingly challenging.

Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a condition where the heart's main pumping chamber becomes enlarged and weakened, reducing its ability to pump blood efficiently. This condition causes fatigue, breathlessness, and other health issues, requiring careful management.


I was diagnosed with these conditions at 17. Despite my physical limitations, I worked hard and managed to run a small printing shop in Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic and the country’s economic crisis led to the collapse of my business, leaving me financially disabled.

Currently, I am struggling to:

• Afford my basic needs
• Cover the high medical expenses required to manage my conditions.
• Plan for the future, including a pacemaker surgery, which I will need in the near future to manage my heart condition.

To regain stability and independence, I am seeking to raise 5000 USD, which will be used to:

1. Restart my printing business, enabling me to become self-sufficient again.


2. Deposit a portion into a fixed account to generate interest for ongoing medical and living expenses, including the eventual pacemaker surgery.
