Through a great deal of research and prayer, we have found a clinic in Houston Texas that has successfully treated many types of cancer!
Unfortunately, although he has insurance, this particular treatment is not covered by insurance. The clinic has shown success in FDA-approved Phase I and Phase II trials, and is still in the fundraising stages before they can begin Phase III clinical trials. What this means is that it is not yet approved by the FDA, and therefore, insurance doesn't cover it. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the time to wait for the trial, since the cancer is advancing within him.
This personalized cancer therapy utilizes an understanding of each patient’s genetic makeup to unravel the biology of their cancer. Using this information, the physicians attempt to identify treatment strategies that may be more effective and cause fewer side effects than would be expected with standard treatments. By performing genetic tests and analyses, the physicians customize treatment to each patient’s needs.
Mark and his wife Emily have stood faithful these past few years fighting this cancer and remain faithful today. They have a young son named Logan. Our hope and prayer is to help him get this lifesaving treatment!
We have seen the generosity of our family, friends, and communities. I have faith that together we can help him, through this fundraiser and prayers, to begin the treatment that would lead to a permanent cure.
Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated! We can accomplish great things together, through generosity and prayer!
Thank you for your love and support!
