My name is Brandi and I am a mother of 3. I have two disabled children who go to over 50 hours of therapy a week and need to go to specialist appointments all over the state, and recently the company we financed our car from repoed our car for being a few days late on a payment. Despite pleading with them, offering everything we have they are refusing to give back our only vehicle if we don’t pay the full loan in the next 10 days. We have reached out to every single resource you could possibly imagine, contacted lawyers, and reached out to the family. My husband works 8-10 hours a day every single day and relies on our car for work. Every day we go without our car is another day we can’t pay bills and are at risk of losing our home that we spent years working towards. I am our disabled children's full-time caregiver and on a fixed income, I’m constantly trying to pick up side work every moment I can. We work so hard, from the moment we open our eyes to the moment we close them. In the month of March, we had to take work off to get our car repaired pouring all of our taxes into to save the engine, which is why we were slightly delayed in making the payment. We were only a few days late, not thinking we were at risk of our car being repoed, we thought our car had been stolen. We are desperately asking for help to get our vehicle back because without we are truly going to lose everything.

Our son is completely nonverbal & autistic unable to care for himself or keep himself safe, he needs to go to over 35 hours of therapy a week and our daughter has a very rare condition called I.T.C.H E3 gene mutation, it is so rare that only 2 other people have ever been diagnosed with it and both died at age five, our daughter is the case study for this mutation and goes to many specialist appointments and therapies and then we also have an 11-month-old. We can not go without our vehicle, so we are desperately pleading for help. My husband and I are both adopted and unfortunately don’t really have a family to reach out too who will help us so I don’t know what else to do.
